Preamble
The Admission Process is a matter of significance as it is vital to the reputation of the University hence Maganbhai Adenwala Mahagujarat University has constituted a committee to be known as Admission Committee, to ensure compliances with the provisions of the regulations relating to Admission for all the faculties of the university.
The Admission Committee has a diverse mix of membership in terms of levels as well as gender. The details about the members of the Admission Committee and its functions are given below.

Role and Functions of Admission Committee
1. The basic role of the Admission Committee is to give the admission and enroll the admitted students on the record of the University as per the admission policy of MAM University and as per the norms of co Central Admission Committee of concerned Faculties of MAM
2. Selecting the right students and giving equal opportunities to all without any discrimination are the two main objectives of this committee.
3. The major role of the admission committee is to identify meritorious candidates for admission to various programs without any prejudice to their caste, creed, religion, language, ethnicity, gender and disability.
4. The Admission Committee has to identify meritorious candidates for admission to various programs in General/OBC/ST/SC/PWD & EWS
5. The Admission Committee has to take care that the admission given should be on merit basis to UG, PG and D. Programs of the MAM University.
6. The Admission Committee has to take care about the Reservation and relaxation as per the prevailing norms of government from time to time.
7. The Admission Committee has to take care of publishing and broadcasting of various admission announcement and notification to all possible print and electronic media
8. The Admission Committee has to check the original documents and the copies of the relevant documents submitted as the evidence of eligibilities for concerned admission.
9. The Admission Committee has to create necessary set up and the process to receive, and to scrutinize the applications received for admission and to prepare merit list.
10. The Admission Committee has to take care of admission counselling and to confirm the admissions according to the eligibility.
