The historical city of Nadiad has not only been known for its rich heritage in spiritual, literature, and industrial activities but is also now establishing itself as a prominent educational hub. Recognizing the evolving needs of the 21st century, Maganbhai Adenwala Mahagujarat University (MAM University) was established by the Mahagujarat Medical Society Nadiad vide Gujarat State Private University Act 2009 on June 1st, 2022.
With an aim to pursue excellence in teaching and learning, and to be a leading research-intensive University, MAM University is dedicated to fostering innovation and strengthening its position across diverse disciplines within the domestic and international higher education landscape. While maintaining a strong foundation in the health sciences, the University is committed to preparing professionals for the future, whether in traditional wellness or modern technology.
The objective of establishing of MAM University would be to expand knowledge of the Indian System of Medicine, its development, and analysis through education, research, extension, services, and effective exhibition. This has sought to be achieved by undertaking J. S. Ayurveda Mahavidyalaya as its constituent institute, which has its own very good prestige since more than 83 years in the field of Ayurveda. It offers Under Graduate (B.A.M.S.), Post Graduate (Ayurved Vachaspati), Ph.D. (Ayurveda Varidhi), Certificate Courses, and Value-Added Courses.
With a view to offering the student a platform and tools to develop requisite skills to become a good health service provider, MAM University has undertaken Dinsha Patel College of Nursing as its constituent institute. It offers PG – M.Sc., UG – B.Sc., Post Basic B.Sc. and Diploma in Nursing like GNM & ANM.
Extending its academic reach into the sphere of modern technology and the digital economy, MAM University also houses a dedicated Computer Science Faculty undertaken Dinsha Patel College computer science. This college is committed to equipping students with contemporary, market-relevant skills, offering programs like the Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA). By integrating these diverse fields of study—from traditional medicine to cutting-edge technology—the University ensures its graduates are prepared for careers that bridge foundational knowledge and contemporary advancements.
MAM University is also having it’s Faculty of Paramedical Science under which offering DMLT & PGDMLT program & some certificate courses related to paramedical.
