Capability regarding the diagnosis of anorectal disorders and its management through ayurvedic concepts and use of Ksharasutra and other para-surgical techniques in the clinical practice.
INTRODUCTION/RATIONALE
Shalyatantra is a unique branch of Ayurveda which deals with both surgical and medicinal management of the diseases. Acharya Sushruta is considered as Father of Surgery because of his wide contributions in the field of Surgery. In current scenario even though the modern surgery has developed tremendously but the results are not satisfactory in the cases of fistula in ano and haemmorroids due recurrence of the diseases even after  the surgery . In Ayurvedic Acharya Sushrutha has mentionad about the different Parasurgical procedures like use of Kshara and Ksharasutra which are minimal inavasive and time tested in the cases of anorectal diseases . It is cost effective and safe and prevets the recurrence of the disease like Fistula in ano, haemorrhoids and other anorectal disease.
